About Me

Illustration, art and design have inspired me since childhood. I have always been drawn to drawing, designing and storytelling, and have built my career around bringing imaginative ideas to life through my creative practice.

I studied for a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design, developing my technical abilities alongside my artistic skills and understanding of visual storytelling. Following graduation,  I have worked in creative industries, including successfully completing an apprenticeship at MAMA Youth Project in London. Producing a TV series for Sky One. This lead to working on a children’s news show for Sky Kids. Further enhancing my skills and experience. Covid led me back to Guernsey where I have since been involved in several design projects, and local TV and Film productions with award winning local filmakers.

I later returned to Guernsey, where I contributed to a variety of design projects and local film productions alongside award-winning filmmakers.

I am the published author and illustrator of Once Upon an Island: A Treasury of Guernsey Folklore, which proudly reached Blue Ormer’s bestseller list.

I wanted to bring these wonderful fables, which might otherwise be lost, to a whole new generation. I collaborated closely with all branches of the Guernsey Arts community, The National Trust of Guernsey, Guernsey Museums and Heritage Services and Visit Guernsey.

The book’s success opened up opportunities to work as a freelance artist and educator, particularly through artist-in-residence projects in schools and museums. These experiences have allowed me to combine illustration, storytelling and hands-on creative learning, encouraging others to explore their imaginations and develop their own ideas.

Now based in the Lake District, I continue to explore the connections between folklore, nature, history and storytelling through my illustration and design practice. I welcome commissions and collaborations across a broad range of projects, from bespoke wall art, murals and event stationery to children’s publishing, book illustration, educational projects and beyond. Whether working with individuals, schools, cultural organisations or publishers, I enjoy bringing ideas to life through thoughtful, imaginative and detailed artwork.
